I have quite a few old NOS saddles. This one has me stumped. Can anyone help with the name? It has a spring release flip top. Thanks

Perhaps try entering variations of the name as you imagine it could be spelt, into Google, along with 'saddle', and you might just hit on it if the manufacturer had been in business for any real length of time. The letters have me stumped also...

the name is Schmid, don´t know the saddle, but german is my first language, and the type of writing suggests it´s somewhere between the late 30´s and early 50´s (unless it´s a younger saddle and they just retained the older typo as a trademark or something, can´t tell really...), that´s quiet a range i know, but i hope it helps you nonetheless
