General Information
Top and down tubes are constructed with Columbus SL "GILCO" "shaped" tubing. Top tube having 2 longitudinal "crimps", and down tube having 4 "crimps" in the same manner. Seat tube standard SL tube. Only one set of bidon mounting bosses; on down tube. This paint scheme, although appearing on other "Nuovo Mexicos", was only available in 1986 with the gold/brown color combination. I have seen a 1984 model with a red/white combination; also, black/silver and blue/white combinations, years made unknown; but all using the same "snakeskin" pattern.
