Model General Information
My latest informations say this is a Specialissima SL from 1986.
In 1987 the Mondiale was offered in the U.S. as complete bike with the c-record group.
My bike was built up individually in 1987 using a mix of Campa Super Record / Nuovo Record, I guess to minimize costs.

Brand Information(click to expand)
One of the giants in Italian frame building, Bianchi built (and still builds) bicycles ranging from top end racing machines down to commuter and city bikes.  Bianchi's trademark color, Celeste, is nearly instantly recognizable by cyclists the world round.  There are many stories about how the color came about, and the hue has changed some over the years.
