| C S Milne & Co were based at the Harley Works on Octavius Street, Deptford (South London). As far as is known, the Harley works has little to do witht the Harley Davison motorbike company. They made and make anything to do with gas (mostly welding tools). However, they also made gas-carbide bicycle lamps and tools. Some of their hand and bicycle lamps are highly sought after by gas and oil lamp collecters. They now manufacture gas welding, cutting and scientific tools in Leicester. |
