Heinz Paupitz, Berlin, Germany built bespoked frames for amateurs as well as for many professional racers. Anyhow he and his name were little-known all over the years and are still to this day. Characteristic for his work is a filed notch in the seat lug and that the frame number is identical to the client's birth date.

| Heinz Paupitz built frames in the
years 1953 to 1958 for Berlin's
wholesaler Hübner & Koch (F.B.L.) and up to 1992 under his own
name. In this time he run a shop in
Berlin-Wedding, Seestraße 118 with his
wife Adelheid. |
