General Information
Campagnolo first introduced the COMP TRIPLE 10 Speed Cranksets as a Kit in the 2008 Catalog. They continued the offering in 2010 and 2011.

The Kits included the crankset with 30-40-50T or 30-42-53T Ultra Drive chainrings, a COMP TRIPLE medium length rear derailleur, a COMP TRIPLE front derailleur and a CENTAUR Cartridge Bottom Bracket in British or Italian threads with a choice of 111mm or 115.5mm length spindles.

The 111mm BB spindles were for 28.6mm seat tubes while the 115.5mm spindles were for 32 or 35 mm oversize seat tubes.

The Ultra Drive outer and middle chainrings were pined for easier shifting.

They also offered 2 lower priced kits:

The RACE TRIPLE 10 Speed in black finish with 30-42-53T Exa Drive Chainrings and RACE TRIPLE marked front and rear derailleurs plus a VELOCE BB cartridge in choice of widths and threads,

The least expensive CHAMP TRIPLE 9 Speed Kit with 30-42-52 Exa Drive chainrings, CHAMP TRIPLE marked 9 Speed rear derailleur, CHAMP TRIPLE marked front derailleur plus XENON 9 Speed ERG POWER Shifters and a VELOCE BB cartridge.

The quality was about the same as other mid range campy components. The COMP TRIPLE crank arms appear to be forged rather than pressure cast (Japanese euphemism "melt forged"). I have a set of COMP TRIPLE cranks on one of my bikes and they've worked flawlessly. I got them new on eBay in 2010 for $25.00!
