General Information
This model seems to be better known for its tubular variant, but from my experience this clincher variant must have been produced in similar quantity, as I've seen many around. Also came in two colours- the common matt gold, and matt silver, which I'm pretty sure wasn't available for the other variant.

Brand Information(click to expand)
Mavic is best known for its lightweight aluminum rims and complete wheels, which they continue to produce today.  They also produced a full range of drive train components in the past.  Mavic made a failed attempt to popularize an electronic shifting system in the early 90's.
