General Information

This one seems to be the earliest Universal brake.

Unlike the later, it looks like a aluminium copy of the Bowden Super Sport brake.

The year is unknown but it's worth knowing that it was used on a Alcyon race bike that could have been just prewar.

Since it is an alloy brake, I presume however that it must have been made just after WWII. Why ? Why not but just for the iron shortage.
