General Information
According to the SR catalaogue P-7 from Sept. 1982:
Super Custom CT-5LA, melt-forged high strength, light alloy, one piece crank and arm, aerodynamic style, cold rolled super Duraluminum chainrings, chain line same as AEROX
"Interchangeable with the (AE-5LA or) CAMPAGNOLO"...!? Meaning JIS=Campa=ISO???

Dismounted from a 1984 Rauler roadbike with a Sakae/Ringyo (SR) SC(-IS) 5SS (70mm) bottom bracket with a length of 145,5mm incl. threads; (imo the genuine "OEM" combination)
-> so the chain line for a double crankset (like this CT-5LA) is 46,5mm

The weight (655g) shown in the P-7 catalogue is imo a typoand should be 685g, because the SL (SuperLight) version of this crankset with drilled chainrings should be lighter and not heavier by 10g (total 675g);
In addition a total weight of 685g would almost meet exactly the actual measured weight of 684g.

Date of Manufacturing / Production Code for SR seatposts (at least for the 80's):
The date of prodcution of SR (Laprade) seatposts is shown around the min.insert line as follows:
"letter"-"double digit number", e.g. F-81 oder L-81, while the letter should be the month and the number will be the year of production.
So F-81 seems to be June 1981 while L-81 would indicate December 1981.
