General Information

These rare first generation Record levers are most easily identified by their cable feeding hole on the back side.  First generation levers have a hole where the cable is fed in whereas all the later Record levers have a U shaped slot.

The First two photos show the first generation Record levers.  The third photo shows the difference between the later lever style shown on the left with the original design shown on the right side.

Details:   First generation Campagnolo Record group.  This group is later called the Nuovo Record group when the Nuovo Record rear derailleur is introduced.  Some people however call Nuovo Record group simply 'Record' throughout the time frame of the introduction of the Record derailleur all the way through the mid 1980's when the Nuovo Record group production is ended.
