General Information
The exact make up of Columbus Tenax tubing is of some dispute depending on the sources and their memories of the mid 1980's when this tubing started appearing on Schwinn bicycles.  From what I have been able to determine, it was either a variation of the Columbus SP or SL (or possibly both) tubing which Schwinn purchased at a discount from Columbus for some sort of finishing flaw in the material.
