Headbadge Information
This badge was given to me - or maybe sold for a small nominal sum - by the owner of a cycle shop in North Harrow in 1976 or thereabouts (possibly the premises now trading as 'The Bike Shop' in the Pinner Road).  It appears to be the style of Armstrong headbadge used after WWII, though I am not certain of this.  The red colour behind the ARMSTRONG name is probably original.  Not so sure about the traces of yellow on the globe motif.  The vertical BIRMINGHAM lettering probbly had a blue background but I have seen examples with black here.  Otherwise I have little information about this badge.
I had it mounted on a tricycle frame that I then beleived to be an Armstrong (the front end that is- the trike conversion is brazed-on Holdsworth).  I am less certain of this now.
