General Information
This La Vie Claire jersey is a rare version that has a picture on the back and was worn by riders such as Greg Lemond, Bernard Hinault and Steve Bauer in the 1986 Coors Classic. 1986 was also the first year that carbon fiber bike frames were seen in the Tour de France.  The La Vie Claire team rode both the Look steel and carbon bikes that year, depending upon the stage. The steel bikes were much preferred for the descents, because of their slightly higher weight and greater stability.
