Model General Information |
Semi-professional level roadbike directly under the Pro-Luxe or FullPro (from '81 on).
Dura Ace equipped. Since the introduction of Dura Ace EX groupset equipped with that groupset.
Early frames features full Tange Champion #2 tubing and were also available as frame only. Later frames used Champion #2 in main triangle and Miyata's own Hi-Manga for fork and tail. All frames came with open bottom bracket shell and neat lugwork with cut outs.
From 1981 on ProRacer's were specced with Full Power Drive (FPD) geometry, a geometry designed around Shimano's 'Dyna Drive' concept. |
