General Information

Shaft is 185 mm long.  No minimum insertion marking.  Shaft diameter is stamped on shaft.  Material is polished aluminum with galvanized steel saddle rail clamps.  Also visible in the photos are the red synthetic friction discs.  I do not know how well these actually worked. 

Some have identified this post as a Unica product, however, it does not say UNICA on it anywhere.

The name Nitor is associated with UNICA, hence the name UNICANITOR which is fairly well known.  Unica made saddles and Nitor made posts, and at some point there was a merger.
