Headbadge Information
Bontekoe is a famous bike shop in The Hague that Gerrit Bontekoe started in the 1920s, after ending his track career. He and his son, Gerrit jr - also a track rider - built their own frames and when that was no longer economically feasible they started selling third party frames labeled with their own brand. The Bontekoe bikes that I've seen were always nice bikes, whomever built the frames. I already own a couple from the early eighties, one with a Viner frame, the other built by Miki.
