Headbadge Information
1981 Campione Del Mondo, the bike used by the "Belgian Bianchi Racing Team". Interesting mix of Campy GS, NR and SR components with a Columbus "Tretubi" frame. The 3 main tubes are probably Columbus SL and the balance Falck tubing. It sure rides nice though.

One of the giants in Italian frame building, Bianchi built (and still builds) bicycles ranging from top end racing machines down to commuter and city bikes.  Bianchi's trademark color, Celeste, is nearly instantly recognizable by cyclists the world round.  There are many stories about how the color came about, and the hue has changed some over the years.
