This is the earlier model with the 2 pin tool to unscrew the earlier Stronglight dustcaps.
This is the 23.35mm tools. Very hard to find, but a real pleasure to use. Alternatively there is the JA. Stein tool which you can purchase.
velobase user eaglerock-July 1, 2020: As of this time, there are double-sided crankarm extractors available from several eBay sellers based in Poland for approximately $30-40 each. These extractors are physically similar to the VAR #393 extractors, but with 23.35mm Stronglight/23mm TA threadings; there are different sized threaded inserts on either side, with a large extractor bolt passing through them. An additional spanner is required for use.
