| Cutting tool to chamfer the faces of the bottom bracket shell to accept the Mavic 610 threadless cartridge. The shell can either be threaded or unthreaded; after chamferring, a threaded shell will still be able to revert a threaded bottom bracket if needed. Pilot sleeves are provided in both 35mm and 36mm diameters. The pilot shaft is the same diameter as the Campagnolo #725 bottom bracket facer shaft, so the Campagnolo threaded facer pilot sleeve can be used with this tool. |
Mavic is best known for its lightweight aluminum rims and complete wheels, which they continue to produce today. They also produced a full range of drive train components in the past. Mavic made a failed attempt to popularize an electronic shifting system in the early 90's.
