The Currys' sport was sold through their retail outlets (at the time this one was sold, in 1964), there were over 360 stores in the UK. It was almost certainly made by Hercules, which, although part of the same conglomeration as Raleigh, was being manufactured seperately. However, the frame is very similar to many Raleigh and Hercules frames made at the same time. The geometry is typical of a 1960s English sports bicycle, as are all of the components, which are either unbranded or unidentifiable from the example frame. |
