Headbadge Information
Tigra's heyday was probably during the 1960s. They sponsored a pro team from the 1950's to the early 70's with distinctive lime green and white colors. The finish details on the top Tigra models exceded the other Swiss makers including Mondia and Allegro: beautiful lug lining and pinstriping, fade paint jobs and so on. The Tigra name continued until at least 2001 when the Swiss company that was by that time producing low to medium quality bikes for their domestic and German markets was purchased by Trek USA.
