Giordana cycling cloths were/are imported and distributed by Gita Sporting Goods. They were also the sole US importers for Pinarello, Merckx, DeRosa, and Pegoretti frames. Gita chose Pegoretti, a small high class Italian builder to produce their Giordana house brand frames. This frame is made with Mannesmann Oria ML25 butted tubing which is similar to Columbus Nivachrome. The paint and workmanship on this frame is excellent. At the time this model sold for mare than a Merckx Sl or DeRosa frame.
